Sophia Küstenmacher studied philosophy in Vienna and in Leipzig.
She graduated with a bachelors thesis that discusses the role of literature in the hermeneutics of Gadamer and Ricoeur. Her research interests lie particularly in narrative theory and hermeneutics.
During her studies she worked as a copy writer, a social media manager and partly as a photographer.
After her graduation she moved to Berlin to work as a production assistant for Rekorder, a commercial film production company.
Her big passion for storytelling led her to study Directing (fiction) at the University of Television and Film Munich (HFF) ever since October 2021.
She lives in Munich and works as a mainly as a freelance writer, photographer and director.
